Icers Girls tournament team comes to State College for the first time in the 2025-26 season!
PROGRAM & FEES
The fee for the girls tournament team is $540.

- 1x practice a week for 60 minutes

The cost was selected to maximize participation and allow for the team to select age appropriate events upon formation. The goal is 1-2 tournaments at the 14U level and 1-2 tournaments at the 16U or 19U level. This team's goal is to set the foundation for a 26-27 full season PAHL Icers Girls team.
Ages
Practice will be open to 2006 - 2014 birth years. Tournaments will be pursued for 16U (2009 - 2012) as well as 14U (2011 - 2014).

August - March
Where
Practices will be held once a week at Pegula Ice Arena on Penn State University campus.
Practices
The team will practice once a week on Wednesdays at 6:45pm.
Games
We will be targeting 1 to 2 tournaments to be determined based on enrollment.
Jerseys
Jerseys are an additional cost. This team will skate as an Icers team so Icers jerseys can be re-used.
Extra Costs
Tournaments are an additional cost not included in the cost of the program. The program covers practice and coaching fees only.

Is this a full season team?
No. This is a tournament team with a goal of being able to build momentum to launch a full season Girls Icers team in the 2026-27 season. All girls interested in the program in the short and long term should consider playing to help ensure that this full season team comes to fruition.
Is there a goalie?
Yes. SCYIHA has identified and invested in three female goalies (Birth years 2011, 2012, 2014) in order to ensure teams can exist this season and for many years to come.

25-26 Girls Icers Tournament Team. This is a 1x a week practice squad with the intent of fielding a full season PAHL 19U Icers Girls team in the 26-27 season.
