There are many hockey teams and programs in the State College area. To the right you'll see our progression chart (click to enlarge) within our own programming but there's more hockey that takes place in State College!
While not promoting these programs or being affiliated with them, we want families to know what hockey opportunities exist in State College whether as players or fans to support local hockey!
SCYIHA Progression Chart
State College Little Lions
State College Little Lions has Middle School and High School (Junior Varsity / Varsity) programming. It is common for Icers players to also play for their school if they live in the district.
Nittany Hockey League
Adult hockey league that plays games at Pegula. There are a few levels of competition A, B and some C level programming. Many former Icers play in Nittany Hockey as well as association coaches past and current.
Penn State Hockey
Penn State University has Mens and Womens Division 1 hockey teams, Division 2 ACHA Club hockey teams as well as a Coed Roller Hockey program. D1 games are paid ticketing while Club events are typically free.
